When we thought Joyce had Lyme - before her test came back and she was bedridden- we had chatted with a friend who had beat Lyme herself. She gave us an incredible list of what over the counter supplements we could give Joyce as well as food recommendations. A PDF of Joyce's daily schedule is available for download.
Emory handled early mornings and his daughters took over starting at 8 a.m. One thing we started was "The Breakfast Club" with Joyce's kids. We would all make our breakfast and eat at 9:30 in Joyce's bed with her. We would talk about the plans we had for the day and it always brought Joyce's spirits up.
Joyce had days where she could barely take a bite of her breakfast because she was too tired or too nauseated. She knew she had to eat even if she didn't want to or she would have to shift her whole schedule.
This is her pill box from Amazon to the link -> (We get commissions for purchases made through links in this post.) :
This schedule can seem daunting but we ordered an extra large pill box that and set the pills in the time slots. The box lasted a week and we would refill it.
To avoid mixing any pills up, we labeled them from A-P (yes that many pills). Then we carefully would put the pills in their group, double check it, and then fill the pill box.
